UNIC Dhaka and Centre for Information Studies (CIS) jointly organized a two-day long Training on Information Literacy and MDGs during 3-4 April 2010 at Batisha High School in Comilla district. The UNO of Chauddagram Upazila was the chief guest while the Headmaster of the school presided over the session. The key-note speech on MDGs was delivered by Kazi Ali Reza, OIC, UNIC Dhaka. Prof Dr Mezbah-ul-Islam of Dhaka University, Mr Minhajuddin, Faculty of Darul Issan University and M. Moniruzzaman, UNIC librarian conducted the training programme as resource persons.
